Privacy Policy

What the app stores

Lawn Bowls Coach AI records or imports a short video of your delivery and saves it in the app's own storage on your iPhone. Alongside each video it keeps the coaching tips it generated, a thumbnail, and the date.

All of this lives on your device. Deleting a delivery in the app deletes the video. Deleting the app removes everything.

How the analysis works

By default the app analyses your delivery entirely on your iPhone, using Apple's on-device body-pose detection. Nothing is uploaded, and the app works with no network connection at all.

Optional AI coaching

The app includes an optional setting for AI-generated coaching. It is switched off unless you turn it on yourself, and you would have to enter either a server address or your own API key to do so. If you enable it:

• A small number of still frames from your delivery are sent for analysis, and coaching text is returned.
• Frames are sent for that request only. They are not stored on any server run by us.
• If you use your own API key, it is stored on your device and sent only to the service you chose.

If you never turn this on — and it is off by default — no part of your video ever leaves your phone.

What we don't do

• No accounts, sign-ins or profiles.
• No analytics, tracking or advertising SDKs.
• No selling or sharing of personal information.
• No collection of contacts, location or health data.

Permissions the app asks for

• Camera and microphone — to record a delivery. Used only while you are recording.
• Photo library — only if you choose to import an existing video.

You can withdraw any of these in iOS Settings at any time.

Children

The app is not directed at children under 13 and collects no personal information from anyone.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top will change with it, and the current version will always be at this address.
